Interesting. I know once there was a fan scanlation site, but the choices in books were terrible, and I think people maybe got $0.02 per book.

So I wonder what is being planned. Will they contact Nakama, Dangerous Pleasures, Liquid Passion, etc to see if they want to sell their prior scanlations to them and then continue to put up new scans? There's a pooh load of scans out there. There would be some pluses out there:

1. All scans could be found on one-site.
2. DMP could know who is doing which project so maybe they could stop repeat projects

Now the down side would be so many groups are possessive and think they are the best, I'm not sure if they'd play well with others. Free manga would now have to be paid for (but I am sure people would still find a way to get copies and share it somewhere for free).

Would DMP have quality control? Not to say that I don't appreciate all the free goodies I get, but I am sure some groups wouldnot appreciate being told what to do or how to do it.

Again, hmm.....

And I guess go over on Aarinfantasy for more info on it.
