I think Magnus is my new favorite (next to Jace). I just love him! I'm really happy he was in this book more. My favorite parts were the fey court and when Alec was about to tell his mother about Magnus. That was so funny. There was so much action in Ashes, too. I loved the truck on the water. Magnus is so cool. Cassandra Clare said that he's her favorite character to write. I loved all the stuff with Simon. I had a feeling about what happened to him because I read City of Bones like, 5 times and I noticed what happened when he was a rat. I was surprised when it happened though. I thought he was a goner a few times. Poor Simon. I can't wait to find what happens next... in a year :(
