Most Saturday nights (we miss some here and there) my daughter Brianna, and my Niece Rachel usually end up playing some kind of game.  My sister Jeanne sometimes joins us if she isn't to busy running my other niece Kelly around :).  Kelly once every few months joins us.   The games range from board games, to boggle, yahtzee then card games.   In the summer when we are swimming the pool I have done this for years just to keep conversation going and to do something we will go through the alpahbet either saying a song title that begins with the letter, or do books, or movies, or tv shows just something to gives us something to think about.

Last night while playing 500 rummy Brianna, Rachel and I did it with a spin we went out and found the song and then played the song doing the alphabet.  I started with A, then Brianna did B, and Rachel did C etc. I find it interesting the different songs and years that we pick from.  Luckily all three of us have a wide range of music that we like :)

As for the snow I actually had a snow day from work.  We had Sleet in the morning and about 6 inches of snow.  Were I work which is an hour away had a lot more snow.   Since it has been milder and the snow/ice has been melting we were able to chip the ice away and finally open the back door this morning :)

Happy tomorrow is the first day of Spring.
